Assess Health Risks through Health Screenings
Management of Acute and Chronic Non-emergent Health Conditions
In the realm of mental health, where stigma and logistical challenges often hinder access to care, IntervalCare offers a promising solution. IntervalCare offers virtual and in person consultations with a licensed nurse practitioner that specializes in mental health for non emergent needs. Through secure video conferencing, individuals can access a mental health visit from the comfort of their homes. These sessions provide a confidential space for discussing concerns, receiving counseling, and developing coping strategies. Mental health screening tools are also used to allow individuals to self-assess their mental health status. These assessments, designed by mental health professionals, can help identify potential concerns such as depression, anxiety, memory loss, mood disorders, or PTSD. Based on the results, users can be guided to appropriate resources and interventions (medication and/or therapy). We also treat common disorders like bipolar disorder, schizoaffective disorder, and schizophrenia. For individuals managing mental health conditions with medication, telemedicine platforms can facilitate medication management and prescription refills. Our psychiatric nurse practitioners can conduct virtual appointments to assess treatment efficacy, adjust medication dosages, and renew prescriptions as needed. This eliminates the need for in-person visits, particularly beneficial for those with mobility issues or living in remote areas. In person appointments are available in Atlanta and Snellville, Georgia.
Additionally, IntervalCare providers can provide educational resources about proper medication usage and potential side effects to ensure patient safety and compliance. We pride ourselves on educating patients about prevention strategies and promoting overall health. Empowering patients with knowledge can lead to proactive self-management and improved long-term outcomes. Patients may be able to receive electronic requisitions for laboratory testing at affiliated facilities if necessary. Results can be securely transmitted to healthcare providers, enabling timely interpretation and treatment decisions without the need for in-person visits.
Through secure messaging or scheduled virtual appointments, our healthcare providers can track patients' progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and address any concerns or complications that may arise. This continuous support can enhance adherence to treatment regimens and improve patient outcomes. Patients in Georgia may schedule in person appointments at our office in Atlanta or Snellville.
New Patients should book a "Initial Appointment" and returning patients should book a "Follow Up" visit. Be sure you indicate whether you will be cash/credit card pay (due prior to your visit) or using your health insurance (co-pay due prior to your appointment as applicable) while booking.
